Meet Angela - The Upscaler
The Upscaler began with a sole purpose: to support hospitality and retail leaders and entrepreneurs find clarity and strategy for what's next in their business.
Having spent my career in hospitality I've experienced managing pubs, restaurants and hotels at the beginning. This created a deep seated belief in people at the core of a business. Understanding that our actions and decisions create ripples that affect our team, customers and community.
Over time I have had the joy of experiencing a broad range of departments and leading multi faceted projects, including:

Opening pubs, restaurants and hotels from new and out of development;

Recruiting and developing teams at all levels and designing, creating and implementing learning, development and succession structures;

Designing and implementing EPOS, online ordering, hotel booking, labour productivity, property management and time management and reporting systems and processes;

Compliance and audit systems that protect by creating a positive culture for managing risk.
Whilst training, we developed the 4M framework for designing training materials that really worked. The agility with which it can be creatively applied meant that the normally rigid framework was ripped up and training was designed to meet specific circumstances and context.
Now, the 4M Framework is at the very centre of how I develop, deliver and check that change is achieved and lasts. The Upscaler started as an initial 4M Framework and has been cycled through many iterations as it grows and adapts.
I'm excited to share it with you and help you and your team realise its power, agility and simplicity.
